When Julia and geeky Matt opened the door in 1974, they find the house full of furniture, antiques, old clothes, locked doors, and secrets – as if the previous occupants had never left.

At first, they have fun, inviting friends, dressing up, holding sexy parties and emptying the wine cellar, but when they meet an ethereal young girl who appears at the bottom the garden, and Julia discovers that the last occupant of the house an SS officer who was released from the nearby POW camp.
